Gabby Barrett is currently hard at work on her sophomore album which she plans to release later this year. Yesterday, she teased an acapella snippet of her new song, “Dance Like No One’s Watchin’,” with her fans which will appear on her forthcoming album. The song was co-written by Luke Combs, James McNair, and Emily Weisband. Listen below!
Gabby breaks down how it all came together during an appearance on Country Countdown USA, explaining that not only did Combs pitch the song to her, but he all but insisted she cut it.
“I’m a big fan of his. He pitched me a song not too long ago. As soon as I heard it, I was like it really strikes a chord with me. I’m definitely gonna put it on my next album coming out later this year. He was very adamant about the song and me recording it. I think it’s an awesome song, and it’s coming out this year.”
